Virtual Reality for Robotic Technician Assessment
Irvine, CA, October 1 2021 – ARM Institute, the nation’s leading collaborative in robotics and workforce innovation, has selected SimInsights to develop Robotic Technician assessment tests to be delivered via AR/VR/XR simulation incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize the assessment capabilities in future versions.
ARM has convened a working group consisting of thirty-five industry experts in the fields of robotic manufacturing, robotic education and workforce development, robotic institutions of higher learning, and government personnel from the Department of Labor along with labor union leaders and MEPs. Their aim is to assist in the development of Robotic Credential assessment tests aimed at providing incumbent manufacturing workers the ability to earn credentials based upon the knowledge, skill, and abilities gained through on-the-job training in a manufacturing facility incorporating robotics and automation.
