The sixth session of the Jay Chaudhary Lecture series, by IIT BHU Global Alumni Association and IIT (BHU) Foundation in association with Club of Programmers, IIT BHU, was held on 3rd September. Rajesh Jha, founder of SimInsights Inc., an XR/AI company, shared his insights on how the metaverse is built on the convergence of extended reality (XR).
He shared use cases of XR in different industries and also gave a historical perspective of XR. He concluded the session saying that all we need is the next iPhone in the field of XR and within 2 to 3 years, it’ll be as common as a mobile phone.
