SimInsights attends STEM Gala organized by California State University Northridge (CSUN) and NASA Jet Propulsion Laborary (JPL), CA

Irvine, California, October 20 2022: SimInsights representative attended a STEM gala organized by The Autonomy Research Center for STEAHM (ARCS), a NASA-sponsored center for convergence research at California State University and NASA JPL in Northridge, CA. SimInsights representatives Erick Navarro and Raj Jha exhibited the HyperSkill platform on Oculus Quest and Microsoft Hololens to researchers and students.

HyperSkill has been used for several years by CSUN researchers on cutting edge mixed reality work instructions for training on 3D printing operations. Recently, this work led to a new NASA MUREP grant to support a team consisting of Honeywell Aerospace, Castheon Inc, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), ASTM International Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AM CoE), SimInsights, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), and Los Angeles Piece College to form a Consortium for High-volume Additive Manufacturing of Aerospace Heat Exchanger and Talent Development to address the challenges of high-volume manufacturing and supply chain management of aircraft heat transfer equipment.
