HyperSkill platform enables American Society of  Mechanical Engineers (ASME) to launch engineering design competitions

Irvine, California, February 15 2023: SimInsights representatives presented alongside ASME representatives to announce the launch of two E-Fests competitions for 2023: https://efests.asme.org/competitions/asme-extended-reality-challenge

SimInsights partnered with ASME to launch the virtual competitions so that engineering students worldwide can continue to benefit from E-Fests competitions despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. The topics of this year’s competition are: 1) race an autonomous vehicle through a race track, and 2) design a lunar lander system. Key to these tasks is a block coding interface where teams compete to design the fastest and most efficient methods of accomplishing the tasks.
