Irvine, California, February 12 2024: SimInsights representatives have joined Pasadena City College (PCC) and CalIT2 (UCI) to train the next generation of semiconductor technicians using XR and AI. Recently, students were trained on how to use HyperSkill no-code platform to create immersive and intelligence training.
HyperSkill platform is already used for training in diverse industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, robotics, automotive, etc. Semiconductor industry has recently been in focus because it is vital for national security. The chips and science act has committed unprecedented funding for reshoring fabs and developing a skilled workforce.
Note that HyperSkill software runs across various devices including Meta Quest 3, Hololens, desktop, web etc. Very soon it will also support Apple Vision Pro, a new device from Apple that is taking the XR industry by storm. The enterprise sector is rapidly adopting XR devices for training and other applications, and the demand for workers who are skilled in XR content and software development is very strong.
